Deerland Enzymes Hires Vice President of Operation, Expands Management Team

Deerland Enzymes, an international enzyme and probiotic-based dietary supplement formulator and contract manufacturer, has announced the hiring of a new vice president of operations as well as the creation of a new management level position for product development.

DaveThomasDave Thomas has been named the company’s vice president of operations. With a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois, Thomas brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and supplement industry to Deerland Enzymes. He will oversee and manage the manufacturing, purchasing, maintenance, logistics and supply chain functions of the business.

With the addition of Dave Thomas as VP of operations, Chris Martin, who formerly held the position, has moved into the newly created role of vice president of product development and process improvement. In this role, Martin’s vast experience and intimate knowledge of how enzyme and probiotic based supplements are manufactured will be utilized in the up-front product development process to ensure customer formulations are maximized for best manufacturability.
